Who operates this
Receipts is operated by Schmade. Questions, removal requests, and anything else about your data go to hello@getreceipts.dev and are read by a human.
What we store
Every scan is requested by a visitor. Nothing is crawled or scanned unless someone pastes a URL into the prompt. When that happens, we store a scan row containing:
the URL and domain that was scanned, the derived report (scores, findings, and the evidence lines you see on the receipt), and a text snapshot of the scanned page at the moment the scan ran, which is what the evidence cites.
If you join the notify waitlist, we store the email address you gave us, and nothing else about you. It is used to send the update you asked for and is deleted on request.
What we do not do
No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile of you to keep.
No tracking pixels. No third party analytics scripts, no advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting of visitors.
No ads. Nothing on this site is paid placement and no data is sold or shared for advertising.
Retention
Scan rows are kept so that receipt links keep working. A receipt is a dated snapshot, and its value is that the link does not rot. Reports stay up until they are removed by the operator, either for legal or safety reasons or at the reasonable request of a site owner. Waitlist emails are kept until the notification is sent or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first.
Your requests
To ask what we hold about your site, to request removal of a report, or to have a waitlist email deleted, write to hello@getreceipts.dev. Removal requests are handled by a human, not a form, and a report is never removed in exchange for payment.
